\u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh, ART BSA's Artistic Director and Conductor, was a guest at the Business Conference Re:Innovating mobility<\/strong>, organised by the newspaper Delo to mark the end of the months-long Mobility 2023 campaign. Guests were welcomed by the Minister for the Economy, Tourism and Sport Matja\u017e Han<\/strong>, Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankovi\u0107 <\/strong>and the Stojan Petri\u010d<\/strong>, director of the Delo newspaper company.<\/p>\n

The conference addressed different segments of mobility, with a panel on Re:innovating work concepts<\/strong>, featuring \u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh, the discussion focused on the revised concepts of the work.<\/p>\n

The panel was moderated by Simona \u0160pilak<\/strong>, owner of BOC Institute, a recruitment agency working in the field of executive search, and an international executive coach, who discussed new, successful models of work with \u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh<\/strong>, Matejo Lavri\u010d<\/strong>, Director of Kolektor Ventures, Tomi Ilija\u0161<\/strong>, CEO and founder of Arctur, Dr. Uro\u0161 Ocepek<\/strong>, PhD in Computer Science and Informatics, teacher at the Secondary Technical and Vocational School Trbovlje and teacher of the year 2022, and Andra\u017e \u0160talec<\/strong>, CEO and co-founder of Red Orbit.<\/p>\n

\u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh said it was important to share knowledge and experience with as many young people as possible. \"When we make new strategies, political decisions and new visions in companies, we are looking to the future, but we are also too focused on the current generation,\"<\/em> she said. We need to improve the youngest ones - as a mentor and leader myself, working with young people from the age of 12 - and not only in the area of work, for example how to put together a programme, how to perform, how to sell a concert, but also to cover social, societal issues and sustainability. For example, how to travel to gigs in a green way, by train, she adds. \"Through our performances, we are educating audiences about the importance of green travel, and young people should be given the opportunity to learn about these options as soon as possible, and to accept them as safe and ethically unquestionable.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

\u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh agreed with the panellists that the new concepts of work will be fluid and dynamic. \"I am convinced that there is still a lot of room for manoeuvre in this area, and among the skills I would like to stress the importance of ethics, empathy, networking and listening - not only to each other, but also to new technologies,\"<\/em> concluded Ploj Per\u0161uh.<\/p>\n
