The Slovenian conductor\u00a0<span id=\"dc-kw-match-339\" class=\"dc-kw-match\">\u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh<\/span>\u00a0joined the operation. We couldn\u2019t open the windows or turn on the lights on the train,\u201d says 10-year-old Gleb, describing the journey. He took his recorder with him, but they had to leave most of their things at home, including their pets. The older members of the orchestra have formed a youth orchestra with which they hope to perform across Europe in the coming months. The younger musicians are rehearsing together for a performance for President Borut Pahor, reports the \u017durnal24 portal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"dc-text-paragraph\">\n<p><span id=\"dc-kw-match-858\" class=\"dc-kw-match\">\u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh<\/span>\u00a0told the\u00a0<em>BBC<\/em>\u00a0that they want the children to feel loved and valued. \u201cThey deserve it. They are young, bright and talented,\u201d she stresses. She cannot imagine being in their situation herself. \u201cI have a seven-year-old son.
