If you thought young people today are passive, you\u2019re mistaken. It is a musical manifesto \u2013 a cry from the younger generation that sincerely wants the world to hear their ideas. Art as a tool against division. Youth as proof that through connection, we can push boundaries.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"dc-text-paragraph\">\n<p>This year's <em>POK25 (Summer Orchestra Camp 2025)<\/em> is part of the <strong>international\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/smo.ngo\/poletni-orkestrski-kamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SIT DOWN<\/a>\u00a0initiative and takes place under the honorary patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon<\/strong>. It is being created in cooperation with the Peace Child International Foundation, the Cultural Institution\u00a0<em>ART<\/em>\u00a0<em>BSA<\/em>\u00a0and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia\u00a0<em>RS.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Brdo pri Kranju \u2013 A Musical Base<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"dc-text-paragraph\">\n<p>Brdo pri Kranju is the perfect location for such creativity, as it is a place where history meets the future. Where politics shapes the fate of a nation, music will shape the fate of the young and give them a voice. At Brdo, they will create, sing, rehearse. Each day will include group, sectional, and orchestral rehearsals. In between, creative workshops in theatre, movement, improvisation, and more will take place. All in one location, as we see Brdo as the musical base of the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Young Musicians United for Peace<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"dc-text-paragraph\">\n<p><em>POK25 (Summer Orchestra Camp 2025)<\/em>\u00a0is more than just a camp. This year\u2019s inspiring musical-theatrical content will connect young musicians from Slovenia and abroad. Young people will explore and simultaneously create history and shape the future through dialogue, harmony, singing, and music \u2013 in a year when the world marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top-Level Team, Global Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"dc-text-paragraph\">\n<p>Behind the project is an experienced team.\u00a0<span id=\"dc-kw-match-2065\" class=\"dc-kw-match\">The Slovenian Youth Orchestra<\/span>\u00a0<em>(SMO)<\/em>\u00a0is an ambassador of the future. Artistically led by\u00a0<span id=\"dc-kw-match-2133\" class=\"dc-kw-match\">\u017diva Ploj Per\u0161uh<\/span>, who has been bringing together young talents for over a decade, pushing musical boundaries, and impressing audiences both at home and abroad. Classic Arta\u010d,\u00a0<span id=\"dc-kw-match-2298\" class=\"dc-kw-match\">Music for the Future<\/span>, ALARM \u2013 are projects that proved classical music can be provocative, fun, inspiring, and unifying.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Final Concert at Kri\u017eanke<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"dc-text-paragraph\">\n<p>The grand finale will be the concert at Kri\u017eanke on 23 August 2025, at 8:30 p.m. The concert, part of the Ljubljana Festival, will not just be a conclusion but the highlight of the summer\u2019s creative work.
