The Ljubljana Festival, while catching its last breaths this year, has visibly stepped up a gear in the final phase of its 71st edition. Over the past few days, a number of their events - including some near sell-outs - have taken place on the stages of Križanke, Križevniška Church, Cankarjev dom and Peklensky dvorišča.

Ljubljana Festival, it was also possible to see the musical Povodni mož (The Water Man), which was quite well received by the Slovenian public, and which is directed by Sara Lucu from the dramatic point of view, and Neža Buh - Neisha from the musical point of view. On 23 August, Križanke also hosted a performance by vocalist Uta Lemper with the Slovenian Youth Orchestra conducted by Živa Ploj Peršuh, and just a day later a concert by the chamber jazz group Bossa de Novo.
