Link: Art high school students gain new experience on a tour of Romania – Velenjcan
A group of exceptionally talented current and former students of the arts secondary school who are dedicated to music (Lucija Škruba, Tinkara Lednik, Vita Žager, Enej Jezernik, Tjaž Marin and Rok Kastelec) recently had a unique experience when they took part in a tour of Romania.
As part of their collaboration with the Slovenian Youth Orchestra, they had the opportunity to perform in Bucharest, and appeared as guests in Roman Ateneum and Sinaia.
At these performances our students presented themselves with outstanding concerts. They performed:
- Brahms's Variations on a Theme by Haydn,
- Osterc's Religioso,
- Tchaikovsky's famous Violin Concerto and
- Beethoven's heroic Symphony No. 3.
This tour was not merely an opportunity to perform on an international stage; it also gave the young musicians many valuable experiences. Working with fellow musicians enabled a rich exchange of knowledge and skills.
These invaluable experiences will certainly continue to shape their musical path and help them further develop both their artistic and personal qualities.
