This year the Summer Orchestra Camp brought together 106 young musicians aged 12 to 26 in a lively meeting place of creativity and talent. During the camp, participants not only refined their musical abilities but also laid the foundations for their future musical careers.
Supported by ELES, the gold sponsor of POK24, the camp offered a rich experience that went beyond traditional musical boundaries. Thanks to ELES's generous support, the young musicians took part in a variety of creative workshops, including videography, physical theatre and somatics. These workshops offered a unique opportunity to explore the intersections of different art forms, while the basic workshops in theatre and musical improvisation encouraged imaginative expression and experimentation.
More than just an educational experience, the Summer Orchestra Camp was a celebration of collaboration, creativity and the boundless potential of young people in music. The Slovenian Youth Orchestra also included young Ukrainian musicians from the Music for the Future project in the activities of the Summer Orchestra Camp, providing them with accommodation and meals as well.
