The war in Ukraine is causing the largest refugee crisis in Europe since the Second World War. More than two million people have already fled the turmoil of war.
Slovenia is also taking in Ukrainian refugees, among them young musicians. A good 100 members are already in Ljubljana of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine together with their chaperones. Their evacuation was organised by The Slovenian Youth Orchestra – more on this in the programme Svet kulture on Prvi, in which we also report on a new production at the Slovene National Theatre Maribor.
