Audition 2026 has the most applications ever
We are delighted to announce that we have completed the audition for The Slovenian Youth Orchestra for the 2026/2027 season – and this year we received the most applications ever. This is a tremendous source of pride for us, and at the same time a clear signal that SMO's programmes for young musicians are attractive, important and relevant.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel
Next up is the panel, which over the coming weeks will review all the applications and audition recordings.
Owing to the record number of candidates, this is a responsible and time-consuming task, so we sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience.
