The HSE Group is the best-known name in Slovenian energy and a reliable partner on European energy markets. It brings together companies in Slovenia and abroad which together form a key pillar of the Slovenian electricity system.

As the largest producer of electricity from renewable sources and one of the largest suppliers to end customers in Slovenia, our balanced generation portfolio enables us to ensure a reliable and stable electricity supply.

Our business is founded on the sustainable development of energy. The future we are building is based on energy from renewable sources – with the vision of remaining a responsible leader of the green transition and a guarantor of a reliable energy supply.

The HSE Group is actively developing new technologies, with an emphasis on hydrogen. The North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley project, led by the HSE Group, is the first European cross-border project to establish a dedicated hydrogen valley. The partnership of three countries brings together 34 organisations and covers the entire chain – from production, storage and distribution to the end use of hydrogen in industry and transport.
