This year's Winter Festival will end with a concert by the Slovenian Youth Orchestra under the baton of conductor and artistic director Živa Ploj Peršuh. They will be joined by violinist Rok Zaletel Černoš as soloist at the Slovenian Philharmonic. According to Ploj Peršuh, they have prepared a special programme. Among other things, they will perform Wieniawski's first violin concerto, which is very rarely performed on stage both here and abroad. Also on the programme are the Variations on a Theme of Haydn by Johannes Brahms. The concert will end with Beethoven's Eroica, as requested by the young artists.
