Tilen Artač, a master of transformation and academically trained musician, together with all members of the Slovenian Youth Orchestra, invites you to the concert tour " Klasični Artač” (Classic Artač).
In collaboration with the Slovenian Youth Orchestra, Artač will combine classical music with a unique touch of humour with his cello and conductor's baton. The tour promises an evening full of evergreen classics performed with the youthful virtuosity of an orchestra.
"Classical concerts like ours should be more frequent," says Artač, "because they are an opportunity for the audience to encounter the eternal classics in a new light." The performances will include repertoire including Radetzky's March, A Little Night Music, Nessun dorma and other well-known melodies.
Our conductor and founder Živa Ploj Peršuh adds, "Our aim is to create a relaxed and connecting atmosphere that will inspire both performers and audience." The tour will visit several Slovenian venues, including the Braslovče Cultural Centre, Lasko, Lendava, Rogaška Slatina, Sežana, the Slovenian Philharmonic, Maribor's Union Hall, Krško, Žalec and Velenje.
